Drafted and passed the Responsible Banking Ordinance (2008) to combat redlining and promote environmental justice.
Lead Consultant, Reinvestment Task Force Board of San Diego’s Fourth Council District (2009–2012).
Liaison, San Diego Youth Commission (2009–2012).
Served as Council Representative & Community Liaison to 18 neighborhoods in District 4.
Guided policy initiatives benefiting low-to-moderate income communities throughout San Diego County.

Empowered over 500 minority entrepreneurs.
Hosted quarterly mixers, business acumen clinics, and three major community festivals.
Created the Black Faces in High Places poster series, celebrating community pillars and leaders.
Soulful Christmas Toy Drives – Delivered over 2,000 toys to underserved youth.
Led PPE and food distribution drives during the pandemic, helping thousands of families.
Raised the Juneteenth Flag at the San Diego County Administration Building.
Ringed the San Diego Padres Ceremonial Bell in honor of Tony Gwynn.
