Expand affordable housing and fight displacement
Many families in our community are struggling with rising rents and a lack of affordable housing options. Displacement is forcing long-time residents out of their neighborhoods, breaking apart communities and creating economic insecurity.
-
Public Saftey- Create safer streets and stronger neighborhoods.
Residents are concerned about crime, speeding, and unsafe conditions in their neighborhoods. Many feel that better lighting, traffic enforcement, and community policing are needed to make our streets truly safe.
-
Support local businesses and economic growth
Local businesses are facing challenges from high operating costs, limited resources, and competition from big corporations. Without stronger support, our community risks losing the small businesses that make our neighborhoods unique.
-
Community Maintenance, and General Services
Basic city services like street repairs, park maintenance, and storm drain upkeep have not kept pace with community needs. Recent flooding and infrastructure issues show that our neighborhoods need better care and attention.

Improving parks and community spaces
Many parks and public areas in our neighborhoods lack proper maintenance, safe equipment, and modern amenities. Revitalizing these spaces will provide families with clean, accessible places to gather, exercise, and build stronger community connections.
-
Expanding access to affordable housing
Rising rents and limited housing options are pushing residents out of the communities they love. We must increase affordable housing opportunities and protect tenants from displacement to keep neighborhoods stable and inclusive.
-
Roosevelt Williams III supporting initiatives to boost local business opportunities and economic growth in the community.
Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy, but many face challenges such as high costs and limited support. By reducing barriers and expanding resources for entrepreneurs, we can create jobs and strengthen community prosperity.
-
Investing in education and youth programs
Our youth need safe, engaging programs and strong educational opportunities to succeed. Investing in schools, after-school activities, and job training will help prepare the next generation for bright futures while reducing crime and poverty.
